Kunal Restaurant is unique amongst the 500+ restaurants in Ahmedabad. It is one of the City’s oldest ‘eating-houses’, serving authentic multi-cuisine fare. The restaurant was founded in 1978 by Yudhvir Meni – a passionate, food-loving Punjabi.
This true-blue hard-working entrepreneur, transformed his passion for food into a commercial venture by establishing Kunal Restaurant, which served home-made Punjabi and South-Indian dishes. He was the pioneer in launching samosas and chhole with a pure North-Indian taste. These were amongst his most popular dishes – wholesome and full of earthy flavours. Over time, the restaurant became such a favourite, that it started attracting diners from throughout the state.
