The Kunal  Restaurant is unique amongst the Ahmedabad 2,500 restaurants.

It is one of the Ahmedabad's oldest  restaurant serving authentic multi cuisine. Yudhvir Meni, a passionate food-loving Punjabi, founded the restaurant in 1978.Yudhvir(Virbabu, his popular name among friends)  arrived in ahmedabad in 1962 from meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

A true hard working Punjabi entrepreneur  transformed his passion for food into business by establishing the Kunal Restaurant in the City of ahmedabad serving homemade Punjabi and south indian dishes, He also pioneered samosa with pure north Indian taste and chole were amongst his most popular dishes served wholesome and full of earthy flavours. Restaurant boomed to such a extent, that it started to attract diners throughout the state.

The 1970's and 1980's saw the restaurant grow from strength to strength. It expanded several times to meet the increasing demand for its specialist cuisine. He was very popular for catering in marriage parties, opening ceremonies,birthdays and at very reasonable price also. To name a few of our key clients, IIM, AMA, AMC, TATA TELESERVICES, UTI BANK, DENABANK, CII, ADANI EXPORTS, IOB, EDI, BSNL, NABARD, IOC.
